MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN
COUNCIL OF THE TO'I:N OP EDGE•::ATER, VOLUSIA
COUNTY, FLORIDA, HELD IN THE V.I .A. HALL
WEDNESDAY NOVEMBER 15th, 1933;
Meeting alas called-to order at 7:50 PM by Mayor F.R. Renwick,
with the following members present.
Mayor-Councilman, P.R. Renwick,
Councilman, H.P. Wilkinson,
Councilman, J.J. Francis ,
Clerk, R.C. Puller,
Attorney, G.O . Rasco ,
Notion by Councilman H.P. Wilkinson, seconded by Councilman,
T.J. Francis to waive reading of minutes of previous meeting.
Motion unanimously carried.
COMMUNICATIONS ,
,
Auditor W.M. White submitted audit of town books.
Motion by Councilman H.P. Wilkinson, seconded by Councilman
J.J. Francis that audit of Win. 0. Gentry, W.Marvin White in charge
be received and made a part of these minutes. Motion unanimously
carried.
BILLS AND ACCOUNTS;
Marvin White presented bill for p75:0O for services
rendered in connection with audit. Motion by Councilman H.P .
'.ilkinson, seconded by Councilman J.J. Francis that bill be
ordered paid as read. Motion unanimously carried.
NEW BUSHINESS;
Paul D. Leddin, a Notary Public , administered oath
of office to Councilman Elect, E.A. Ely, who took his seat as a
member of the Council on being vacated by J.J. Francis.
Paul D. Leddin, a Notary Public , administered oath
of office to E.H. Lohman, who took his seat as Town Clerk, on
being vacated by R.C. Fuller. Mayor Renwick thanked Mr. Puller for
services rendered during his term of office.
ORGANIZATION OF NEW COUNCIL;
Councilman H.P. Wilkinson nominated Councilman
P.R. Renwick for the office of Mayor, Motion seconded by
Councilman E.A. Ely, and carried, empowering Councilman F.R.
Renwick to serve as Mayor-Councilman for a term of one year.

ADDITIONAL NEW BUSINESS;
A Complaint was filed by a group of property owners
located on the "Old Town Road" , west of Dixie Highway, that
a culvert across said road was badly in need of repair. Motion
made by Councilman H.P. Wilkinson, seconded by Councilman E.A.
Ely that , that Mayor-Councilman 3.R. Renwick, and Councilman
E.A. Ely be appointed on a committe to investigate the complaint
and report at next meeting.

Lotion by Councilman H.P. Wilkinson, seconded by
Councilman E.A. Ely to adjourn; motion unanimously carried.
