MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL
OF TUE TOWN OF EDGEWATER VOLUSIA COUNTY FLORIDA
HELD IN THE V.I .A. HALL SEPTEMBER 19, 1934.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor-Councilman F.R.Renwick at 7:30 P .M.

READING OF 1NUTES
Minutes of meeting held September 12th were read by Clerk dnd
approved on motion made by Councilman E.A.Ely seconded by Mayor-
Councilman F.R.Renwick.
CO .i` UNICATIONS
Clerk read communication from attorney addressed to Mayor-
Councilman P.R.Renwick relative to contract between H.A.Moore
and the Town of Edgewater for removing City gates.
_B I TJS & ACCOUNTS
Following bills were presented by the clerk; T.A.Swann 027. 25
for use of tractor, oil, and graderman in grading streets; E.Aly
*1:80 for labor on dengue fever mosquito control; Smyrna ldwe. Co
$4,,23 for tools for cleaning streets; V. B. Baldwin $3,08 for
parts for mowing machine; F. R. Renwick <;;i4:85 parts for mowing
machine and trip to Oak Hill for parts; T.E.Cory ti 1:95 of which
70% was for kerosene for mosquito control and 01.25 for oil for
mower; E. H. Lohman 02.01 for stamps and postage. Checks 1500 to
1506 inclusive were issued in payment of the above bills on motion
made by Councilman E.A.Ely seconded by Mayor-Councilman F.R.Renwick.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Motion was made by Mayor-Councilman P.R.Renwick that tentative
budget of 05,125.00 for the ensuing year be adopted and a resolution
drawn up by Attorney G.O.Rasco be passed, motion seconded by coun-
cilman E.A.Ely. Vote upon the foregoing motion was as follows;

Motion passed.
NEW BUSINESS
Contract, and copy of his bid to remove city gates was presented
to H.A.Moore for his signature. Contract setting forth terms and
agreement to remove city gates.
_No further business to come before the meeting motion was made by
Councilman E.A.Ely, seconded by Mayor-Councilman F.R.Renwick to
adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:15 P.M.
