MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF EDGEWATER
VOLUSIA COUNTY FLA. HELD IN THE V.I.A. HALLJUNB ;2nd 1936 .
Meeting was called to order at 7 .45PM.by Mayor Councilman E.A.Ely.

READING OF MINUTES :
Minutes of regular meeting held May 19th read and approved on
motion of Councilman C.D.Bartlett seconded by Councilman H.L.Haughton.

by Councilman H.L.Haughton that bills be paid as read„Carried ,
Warrants 1841 to 1849 inclusive were issued for the above.
REPORTS OF OFFICERS :
Clerk read his monthly reports , it was moved by Councilman
C.D. Bartlett that clerks reports be accepted and be a part of the
minutes , seconded by Councilman H.L.Haughton. carried.
NEW BUSINESS :
It was moved ky Councilman CD. Bartlett, seconded by Councilman
H. •uau¢hton, that the Town Council , Town of Edgewater grant the
City of New Smyrna the right to trim the limbs from trees on the
streets to the Town of Edgewater, through which electric wires of
the City of New Smyrna pass . provided that by accepting this
priviledge the City of New Smyrna agrees that the Town of Edgewater
is not liable for any damage resulting from such trimming, Carried
It was moved by Councilman C.D.Bartlett , seconded by Councilman
H.L.haughton that the City ,of New Smyrna be given the privelege
to pile and burn limbs cut uy them at a place on the river front
in the Town of Edgewater to be desiginated by the Marshall ,motion
carried .
No further business to come before the board motion was made by
Councilman C.D. Bartlett to adjourn, seconded by Councilman H.L.
Haughton, adjourned at 9 PM.
