OCTOBER 24th 1936.
SPECIAL MEETING CALLED FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECEIVING PETITIONS OF
CANDIDATES TO HAVE THEIR NAMES PLACED ON BALLOTS FOR THE ANNUAL
TONN ELECTION, ALSO TO RECEIVE BIDS TO AUDIT TOWNS BOOKS.
Meeting was called to order by Mayor Councilman E.A.Ely at 8 :30 P.M.

Atty . A.Smith Present
The firm of Pentland & Robertson,certified public accountants of
Daytona Beach Fla. was represented by Mr. Robertson, of this firm,
he quoted the Council that he would audit the books for the sum of
475.00 and not to exceed $100.00 for the 2 years ,1934 and 1935,
A motion was made by Councilman H.L.Haughton that Mr.Robertsons
price be accented , and that he start on the audit at once,motion
was seconded by Councilman C .D.Bartlett,Carried.
PETITIONS:
The following petitions were presented as candidates for offices
of Councilman and Town Clerk.
E.A.Ely , and Ralph Adams to be placed upon the ballots as Councilman
for the Town Council for the term of 3 years ,or untill their
successor are qualified ,and the names of 'Halter C. Fuller,and
.:' .H.Lohman be placed upon the ballot as candidates fore the office
of Town Clerk, to serve for the term of ONE year or untill the
successor is qualified or elected , Roll call ,Mayor Councilman
E.A.Ely ,Yes , Councilman C.D.Bartlett ,Yes, Councilman H.L.Haughton,
Yes.
Uo futher business to come before the board , motion was made by
Councilman C.D.Bartlett to adjourn,same was seconded by Councilman
H.L.Haughton. Adjourned at 9 :35 P.M.
