SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, HELD IN V.I .A. HALL ON MAY 28th, 1938.
Meeting called to order Or 3:08 P .M. by Mayor Councilman H.L.Haughton.
ROLL CALL.

The Clerk reported that this special meeting was called by the
Mayor for the purpose of considering a proposed General Administration
Ordinance for the Town of Edgewater.
Hereupon the Clerk proceeded with the reading of the Ordinance.
Under the section pertaining to the Mayor' s Court,Councilman
Bartlett moved that no fees shall be paid the Mayor, Marshall or Clerk
in a case where there is no conviction, seconded by Councilman Adams,
and by vote declared CARRIED. This correction was then written into the
Ordinance.
Ordinance No. 75 entitled " AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE
GOVERNMENT OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND PRESCRIBING THE POWERS
AND DUTIES OF THE TOWN COUNCIL AND OF THE OFFICERS THEREOF. " was read
in fullupon its first reading.
Councilman Bartlett moved that Ordinance No. 75 as read be passed
upon its first reading, seconded by Councilman Adams ,and by vote declared
unanimously CARRIED.
Councilman Bartlett moved that we do now adjourn, seconded by
Councilman Adams and by vote declared CARRIED. Time 10: 57 P .M.
