Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by Mayor Councilman i .R.Renwick.

CALL FOR MEETING.
The Call for this meeting was read in full by the Clerk.
`;hereupon the Clerk reported that Petitions had been filed to place the
following names upon the ballot of the Town Election to be held on
Nov. 5, 1940;
Oliver E. Southard for Town Councilman to serve Three years.
raltc r u .Puller for Town clerk to Serve one year.
he further reported that each petition was signed by Twenty-five or more
qualified Electors.
The Attorney advised that he had examined these petitions and that each
was in the proper legal form.
Councilman Goodyear moved that the names of Oliver - .Southard and Walter ..
C.Fuller be placed upon the Official Ballot, seconded by Councilman
Bartlett and by vote declared cARRIEi).
Councilman Goodyear moved that the Clerk have printed at a cost not to
exceed .; 3.50, 500 Official and 300 Speciman Ballots , seconded by Council-
man Bartlett and by vote declared CARRIED.
Councilman Bartlett moved that we do now adjourn , seconded by Council-
roan .Goodyear and' by vote 'declared CARRIED. Time 7 ;35 P.M.
