Mr. Conrey said his main concern is electrical work dealing with water such as swimming pools, hot tubs, sprinkler pumps and so on and that is why this City Ordinance was put in. Mr. Nelson said his concern was if it was legal. Mr. Karet said the City's legal department was aware of language and has not directed any change. There was then discussion on what electrical work can be performed by a homeowner. Mr. Cole asked if a homeowner is allowed to build their own swimming pool. Mr. Dunn said no. The Board briefly discussed the Swimming Pool Code. Mr. Howard moved to recommend adoption of the Building Code Ordinance. Seconded by Mr. Butt.
