RESOLUTION NO. 96-R-13
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING EXECUTION
OF A HIGHWAY LIGHTING AGREEMENT FOR THE
ADJUSTMENT, RELOCATION AND/OR INSTALLATION OF
A CERTAIN LIGHTING SYSTEM WITHIN THE RIGHT-OF-
WAY LIMITS HEREAFTER DESCRIBED; REPEALING
RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation has
located and proposes to construct or reconstruct a part of the
Highway Lighting System located on State Road 442; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida Department of Transportation
having requested the City of Edgewater, Florida, to execute and
deliver to the State of Florida Department of Transportation a
Joint Project Agreement for Highway Lighting, providing for joint
responsibilities of the Department and the City, and said request
having been duly considered;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Edgewater, Florida:
Section 1.
Tha t Jack H. Hayman, Sr., Mayor, be hereby
authorized and directed to execute and deliver to the State of
Florida Department of Transportation a Highway Lighting Agreement
for the adjustment, relocation, and/or installation of a certain
lighting system within the Right of Way limits of said State Road
442, Section 79210-6504.
Section 2.
A certified copy of this Resolution be
forwarded to the State of Florida Department of Transportation
along with the executed Highway Lighting Agreement.
Section 3.
All resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
