CALL TO ORDER:
Fire Chief, William Vola called to order an organizational
meeting of the City of Edgewater Firemen's Pension Board at 7:32
p.m., Tuesday, January 15, 1991.
ROLL CALL:
Members present were Lt. Larry Carson, Firefighter, William
Finch and Robert Morin. William (Ben) Wagner was excused. Also
present was Sondra Meager-Pengov, Secretary.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
None at this time.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
None at this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
The members of the Board will attempt to recommend a fifth member
to the Board at the next scheduled meeting. Chief Vola suggested
that the Board try to recommend people with a financial
background. The person's name, recommended by the Board will then
be given to the City Council to be appointed as the Boards fifth
member.
The Board agreed to elect a chairman after a fifth member is
appointed.

DISCUSSION ITEMS:
The Board suggested possibly retaining a different attorney for
the Board rather than the present City Attorney. This will be
discussed further after a fifth member is appointed.
Mr. Morin suggested meeting every three weeks until the Board is
better organized. The next meeting was scheduled for February 5,
1991 at 7:30 p.m.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business to come before the Board a motion
was made and accepted to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 8:40
p.m.
