MEMO: September 5, 2012
TO: Members, Economic Development Board, Staff, and Guests
Attached is the consolidated status of Chapter 4 of the CEDS plan. The items are
color coded as to distinguish from new and ongoing status of each item.
Yellow highlights: Designated status is ongoing.
Designated status as new for this FY 2012 -13.
Designate status is ongoing with annual review for changes.
Red lettering: Describes current status such as ONGOING
There are many items which pertain to other boards and the Council. Ultimately,
the Council will have the final say on moving forward with any recommendations.
This should not discourage the board from continuing its participation and due
diligence in maintaining the movement of this City to a 21rt Century future. There
is still a great deal of work to be completed as noted in the attached work plan.
The items not included in the work plan should not be left to uncertainty. They are
just important as the new items contained here. The City has come far in the past
few years and with new planned development to our west to begin in the near
future, all of us must be vigilant in our efforts to maintain the vision of this
community.
Respectfully,
Robert E. McIntosh, Jr.
