Ben Wagner called to order a meeting of the City of
Firemen's Pension Board at 6:52 P.".~ Monday~ April B~
ROLL CALL:
Members present were Lt. Larry Carson~ Firefighter WiJliam Finch~
Mr. Ben Wagner~ and Mr. Al Gilbert. Mr. Al Mo,in was absent.
Also present were Firefighter James Castetter and Lisa R. Mil]er~
Board Secretary.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Minutes of the last meeting were unavailable at this time.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS:
There was no unfinished business at this time.
NEW BUSINESS:
Proposed Meeting With Bank ReDresentatives
Mr. Wagner stated at a previous meeting they had discussed having
representatives from several banks come in to discuss investing
of funds. After a discussion with Dave Cook from Southeast Bank
he felt the Pension Fund should be moved to an interest bearing
account. The account is sitting there not earning any interest.
Lt. Carson moved to move the money into an interest bear}ng
account or savings. Firefighter Finch seconded. Mr. Wagner
clarified that the money would stay in the same account~ it would
just become interest bearing. Motion carried 4-0.
~lection of Officers
Mr. Wagner stated the State would not release funds until they
were notified of the Officers of the Board. Mr. Gilbert moved to
open elections. Lt. Carson seconded. Motion carried 4-0.

Discussion items
The Board set their next meeting to be Tuesday~ April 30~ ]991 at
6:30 P.M. ln the Conference Room at City Hall.
Adjournment
There being no additional business to come before the Board at
this time Lt. Carson moved to adjourn. Firefighter Finch
seconded. Meeting adjourned at 7:02 P.M
