April, 1999 • In April of 1999 the Commission authorizes the printing and dissemination of the TAC/TG recommendations on a working draft of the Florida Building Code and approves eight Public Input Forums to be held around the state in order to solicit public comment on the committee's recommendations. May, 1999 • Commission sponsors 8 public input forums in Ft. Lauderdale, Melbourne, Jacksonville, Tallahassee, Orlando, Naples, Tampa and Pensacola and schedules an additional public hearing in Miami/Kendall on June 9.
