02-03-2014 - Special (Closed) CITY COUNCIL OF EDGEWATER SPECIAL MEETING - CLOSED MEETING FEBRUARY 3, 2014 4:00 P.M. COUNCIL CHAMBERS MINUTES CALL TO ORDER Mayor Thomas called the Special Meeting (Closed Meeting) to order at 4 : 00 p.m. in the Council Chambers . City Attorney Wolfe advised Council he needed their advice concerning the litigation of the case of Stephen Hastings v. City of Edgewater. Mayor Thomas identified this was a closed attorney-client session between the City of Edgewater City Council and its City Attorney that would commence and those not authorized to attend would be asked to exit the room during the course of the meeting. He expected the closed session to take approximately one hour. The names of those who would be in attendance were as follows : Mayor Michael L. Thomas, Councilwoman Christine Power, Councilwoman Gigi Bennington, Councilman Michael Ignasiak, Councilman Gene Emter, City Manager Tracey Barlow and City Attorney Aaron Wolfe. Staff was not permitted in the closed attorney-client session. City Manager Barlow asked to let that satisfy as roll call as he pointed out all of those identified were present. The Council recessed to the City Hall Conference Room for the closed attorney-client session.
