ANIMAL CONTROL BOARD

Chairperson, Donna Wagner, called the regular meeting to order at 7: 10PM in
the City Hall Conference Room.

Members present were: Donna Wagner, Debrah Brazzell, Dr David Vanis, and
Elizabeth Dimascio. Also present were: Captain Jill Danigel, Board Secretary
David Newell and Legal Assistant Robin Matusick and Sylvan McElroy.
Members absent were: Karen Mason
APPROVAL QF MINUT~
Motion made to approve the minutes of the December 6, 2002 meeting was
made by Debrah Brazzell and seconded by Dr Vanis. Motion passed unanimous.
NEW BUSINESS
Donna Wagner brought up discussion about a Pet Day we had a few years ago
and would like for the board to think about it for discussion at next months
meeting. Sponsorship for the event could come from the Pet Society.
Robin Matusik stated that she would no longer be attending the meetings unless
a case or.issue is brought to the board and her presence is needed.
Elizabeth Dimascio brought up discussion about a pet park and if the city has
ever looked into it. Capt. Danigel and Donna Wagner stated that the city had
looked at it in the past but we could not use one of the current parks. It is
hoped that once the Pet Society is up and running it will be able to make that
happen.

Captain Danigel is looking into the possibility of getting tranquilizers and
narcotics for Brandi in hopes that it will help make her job a little safer.
OLD BUSINES$
Captain Danigel gave an update on the animal shelter. Thirty animals were
taken to the shelter this past month and they all were adopted out.

Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Debrah Brazzell, seconded by
Donna Wagner. Motion carried unanimous. The meeting was adjourned at
7:38pm.
Next Meeting will be held on May 21,2003 at 7pm.
