POLICE PENSION BOARD MEETING
OCTOBER 25, 1989
10:00 A.M.
SQUAD ROOM, POLICE DEPARTMENT
The meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Edgewater
Police Retirement Plan was called to order by Chairman Nancy
Swiney at 10:05 a.m.
ROLL CALL:
Members present were Diana
Butt and Chairwoman Nancy
Meager-Pengov, Secretary.
Floyd, Leo Booth, John Borzner, Gary
Swiney. Also present was Sondra
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
A motion was made by Leo Booth and seconded by Chairwoman Swiney
to accept the minutes of October 4, 1989 as presented.
OLD BUSINESS:
A motion was made and seconded to amend the Police Retirement
Plan as follows:
Proposed change - (see attached, hi-lighted page 2)
1. Benefit Formula: 2.0% of Average Compensation
multiplied by Benefit Accrual Service.
Compensation to be in accordance with "415"
which reflects total pay received.
For all Proposed Changes, Average Compensation is the monthly
average of the three highest Compensation Vears.
ADJOURN~ENT:
There being no further business to come before the Board, Leo
Booth made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Gary Butts. The
meeting adjourned at 10:45 a.m.
