MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Schmidt called the Special Meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. in
the Community Center.

MEETING PURPOSE
The purpose of the Special Meeting was to certify the results of
the General Election held November 2, 2004.
Paralegal Matusick read Res. 2004-R-14 into the record. She also
presented the results on the Capital Improvement Projects and the
Proposed Charter Amendments.
Councilwoman Rhodes moved to approve Res. 2004-R-14, certifvina
the election results, second bv Councilman Brown.
The MOTION CARRIED 5-0.
Councilwoman Lichter thanked the group for their endless hours
and effort they put in propositioning for the Animal Shelter to
become a reality. She thanked the voters who listened to them,
believed in them and voted YEA on Election Day.
Councilwoman Rhodes had nothing at this time.
Mayor Schmidt asked what the voting percentage was. Paralegal
Matusick informed him it should be on one of the exhibits in the
resolutions. Mayor Schmidt thanked the voters that got out and
voted. City Clerk Wadsworth informed Mayor Schmidt the voting
percentage was 71%.

Councilman Vincenzi feels it is great that that many people got
out and voted. He congratulated the Pet Society and stated he
knows they will do a great job. He hoped they didn't take his
opposition personally.
Councilman Brown stated he is disappointed we didn't get
everything but that is what the people wanted. He congratulated
the people for voting and thanked them for letting the City know
what they wanted.
Mayor Schmidt opened it up to the public for comments, with no
one wishing to speak.
ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business to discuss, Councilwoman Rhodes
moved to adjourn. The meeting adjourned at 6:07 p.m.
