Presentations on City programs, Ecotourism and CEDS that were made at the Chambers Leads 2 Group and the Edgewater Rotary Club. Edgefest Car Show on January 3rd. SEV Home Show and Business Expo. CRA Training in Orange City. IRA class on February 21st. Retail Strategies report Business prospects for the following properties: Coronado Paint building 60 acres north of Boston Whaler I-95/SR 442 Interchange Edgewater Expo's Business Hub kickoff on February 5th at the Elks Lodge. Chamber's Business After Hours event. Team Volusia Website John McKinney gave a presentation on the City's new website to the Board. The website is set to go live on March 3rd. c. Volusia County Department of Economic Development Update Samantha reminded the Board that the Q4 Breakfast Update was scheduled for Friday, February 6th at 8:00 a.m. She stated that Lee Shapleigh has been visiting area manufacturers. She also spoke in regards to having taken a tour of Custom Tubes. 5. CONTINUED BUSINESS a. Ecotourism Sub-Committee Update -March 22,2015 Unveiling Ceremony of Blue Way Community Sign Designation in Menard May Park and the City's first Community Paddle around the South Loop Trail in conjunction with the Riverfest event. .Leff Berner thanked Samantha and the Sub-Committee for all of their hard work in getting the City designated a Blueway Community. He then spoke in regards to the following: The completion of the Pedestrian Bridge. The Pedestrian Trail The January 9th Paddling Trails Development workshop with Liz Sparks. The Community Paddle scheduled for March 22nd at the Riverfest Event. Mr. Harrell informed the Board that his term is due to expire and he will not be seeking reappointment. 6.
