An ordinance defining Heelth and Sanitation offenses and providing for their
punishment.
Tov;n of Edgewater, Florida :Tovember- -1925.
Be it ordained b, the Town Council of Edgev:eter, Flcridai-
1 Section 1 —noever shell throw any dead animal or animal r..atter. or
fifth of any kind into any of the water courses within the corporate limits or
into any of the streets or vacant lots or watering places of the Town, shall be
punished by a fine not exceeding 4100.00 or imprisonment not exceeding 30 days
or both.
Section 2 --',he _:ershal Shall perform the dutiss of sanitary inspector
and shall report to the Town Council all instances of unsanitary conditions with-
in the Town.
Section 3 —The Town Council shell have power to declare any place or
condition that in their opinion is detrimentsl to the health or comfort and
peace of the cova:unity, a public nuisance, and cause the same to be removed ac-
cording to ordinances of town or State Laws governing health and sanitation.
Section 4 --That any ordinance passed previous to this shall be, and are
here -by repealed.
Section 5 --hie ordinance shall gro into effect upon being passed by the
Town Council, signed by the l;ayor and posted 30 days in three (3) conspicuous
places.
