AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR TPE COL:.ECTION
OF TAXES ON REAL AND PERSONAL PROPERTY IN
THE TOWN OF EDGE1JAT R, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLO-
RIDA.
BE IT ORDAINED, by The Town Council, of the
Town of Edgewater, Florida.
Section 1 Taxes on real and personal roperty t 9a9
ihrthe Town of Edgewater, Florida, shal be
due and payable, on the third Friday in Nov-
ember A.D. 1929, and shall become delinquint
4 on the First Day of April, A.D. 1930; and may
be paid at any time prior to the First Monday
in June A.D. 1930, at which time all property
on which taxes have not been paid will be sold
by the Town Clerk, for unpaid Taxes and Costs,
as provided by law.
Section 2. The Town Clerk shall allow a discount
of four percent during the month of November
and December A.D. 1929; three percent during
the month of January; and two percent during
the month of February A.D. 1930, such discount
to be allowed only on current taxes paid for
the year I.D. 1929.
Section 3. All ordinances, or parts of ordinances
in conflict with this ordinance are hereby re-
pealed.
Section4. This ordinance shall ta:ce effect upon
being passed by the Town Council, approved by
the Mayor and posted in three public places in
the Town of Edg_e_ti ter, Florida.
