31f• ORDINANCE NO. 31.
All ORDINANCE, Prescribing the Duties of the Town Clerk of
the Town of Edgewater, Florida.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The town clerk shall be the custodian of the seal,
books, public records, blanks and stationery of the town, including
the ordinance book, warrant book, Mayor's docket, minute book of the
meetings of the Town Council and such books and records as pertain to
the office of town assessor and collector, and shall be responsible
for the safe keeping of the same, and shall nerform such other duties
as may be prescribed by law, or required from time to time by the
Town Council. He shall record all ordinances in the ordinance book
as soon as they become a law. He shall be in his office for such pur—
pose for transacting business during such days and hours as the Town
Council may by resolution prescribe.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect upon being passed
by the Town Council, approved by the Mayor, or becoming a Law without
such approval, and after having been posted for two days at the V.I.A.
Hall, and in three public places in the Town of Edgewater, Florida.
