41r ORDINANCE NO. 41 AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE # 29 ENTITLED, AN ORDINANCE, PROVIDING FOR A REGISTRAT- ION OFFICER, THE TIME AND METHOD OF REGISTRATION OF VOTERS, THE REREGISTRATION OF ALL VOTERS OF ELECTIONS TO BE HELD IN THE YEAR A. D., 1930, AND SUBSEQUENT YEARS THEREAFTER, THE QUALIFICATIONS OF VOTERS ENTIT- LED TO REGISTRATION, PRESCRIBING THE OATH OF THOSE APPLYING FOR REGISTRATION, PROVIDING FOR THE REVISION OF, AND THE RESTORATION OF NAMES IN THE REGISTRATION BOOK, THE NOTATION OF THE PAYMENT OF POLL TAXES, WHAT VOTERS MAY BE PERMITTED TO VOTE A T ELECTIONS, THE FURNISHING OF THE REGISTRATION BOOS TO JUDGES OF ELFt CTION, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR WILFULLY REFUSING OR NEGLECTING TO REGISTER ANY PERSON QUALIFIED TO REG- ISTER IN THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGE+ WATER, VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That from and after this Ordinance be- coming effective, Section 9 of Ordinance 29, Ordinance of the Town of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, ap- prove4as of the fourth day of February, A.D., 1930, be, and the same is amended to be and reads as follows: "SECTION 9: Immediately after the closing of the registration book preceding any election, the Clerk shall transmit the same to the County Supervisor of Registration and have noted thereon the names of the registdred electors who have paid their poll taxes for two years next preced— ing the year in which such election is held, on or before the second Saturday in the month preceding the day upon which such election shall be held." !NOTION 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall take effect upon being passed by the Town Council, approved by the Mayor and upon being posted in three public places in the Town of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, one of such places to be at the door of the V.
