Section 1. That from end after tiie bate of tais Ordinance
any person or persons, firm or corporation seeking to
erect or repair a buiidin,; of any churactar within the
corporate limits of the Town of idi�eaater, Florida, shall
prior td such construction or -repair apply for a permit
to construct such building or a permit to repair such
building provided the cost or value of such building or

dollars, or more; that application shall be made in writ-
ing addressed to and delivered to the Town Clerk. Such app-
lication shall describe fully ohe building or structure to
be erected o.• to be added to, repaired or reiaoved and if app-
roved by said Town Clark said Town Cleric shall issue a per -
cat tharefor in such form as :.gay be prescribed by him. .tuch
permit when iusued shall be recorded by the Town Clerk in a
book to be kept for that purpose and the original i.aued to
the ai,plicant. For such building permit a fee of
...... shall be charged. '
Section i. Thc,t any person violating the ..revisions of this �
Ordinance by fz,ilinj to make application and by failing to ob-
tain smch permit prior to the construction o_ c;ry cuildirg
or the cora:ence:nant of any repair to an already existing
building, shall upon conviction be punished by fine not
exceeding Fifty ($50.00) dollars, or by imprisonment for a term
not exceeding thirty (50) days.

Section 3. That all Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in cdnflict
with this Ordinance tie and the same are hereby repealed.
Section 4. That this Oruinance shwll become a law upon being
passed by the Town Council of the Town of Edewater, Florida,
approved by the hayor or becoming a law without such approval,
and posted at the V. I. A. Hall and these public places in the
Town of ddgewater, Florida, and shall become effective immediately
upon becoming a law.
This Ordinance was read and passed upon its first reading; and
upon ,ption duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the
requirei.,ent of reading this ordinance upon second reading was
waived, and t::is ordinance was o¢dered put upon its final pass-
age.
Passed upon final passage with the mnanimous vote of tiiie Town
Council of the Town of Edge: ter, Florida, and approved as
