66ORDINANCE N0. 66. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR AN OCCUPAT- IONAL LICENSE TAX ON EACH AND EVERY PERSON OR CORPORATION SELLING AND/OR DELIVERING ANY GOODj,WARES OR MER- CHANDISE, FROh° ANY MOTOR TRUCK OR OTH- ER VEHICLE IN THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE FAILURE TO OBTAIN SUCH LICENSE. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA t Section 1. That each and every person, firm or corporat- ion selling and/or delivering any goods, wares or mer- chandise from any motor truck or other vehicle in the Town of Edgewater, Florida, whether an order therefor has been previously given by the buyer and/or an order taken therefor previously by the seller thereof or not, shall pay to the Town of Edgewater an occupational license tax therefor of Two and 50/100 ($2.50) dollars per annum for the privilege of selling or delivering from such truck or other vehicle, which said fee shall be in addition to the Clerk's filing fee of twenty-five (250) cents. Section 2. That said license tax snail be aue and payable at the same time and shall be for the same term as now pro- vided for by Ordinance for the Town of Edgewater, for other occupational license taxes and that any persons failing to obtain the license as is required by this Ordinance shall be liable to arrest therefor and upon conviction, subject I to the same penalties as is now provided by Ordinance of the Town of Edgewater for the failure to obtain other occ- upational license taxes. Section 3. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances in con- flict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. Section 4. That this Ordinance shall become a law upon being passed by the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, approved by the Mayor or becoming a law without such approval and posted at the V. I.A. Hall and three public places in the Town of Edgewater, Florida, and shall become effective immed- iately upon becoming a law. This Ordinance was read and passed upon its first reading at a regular meeting of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, held on the 2nd day of March, A. D. 1937. This Ordinance was read and passed upon its second reading at a meeting of the Town Council held this 16th day of March, A. D . 1937 and was ordered put upon its final passage.
