144 ORDINANCE NO. / '"�N AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE NUMBERING OF HOUSES ON PUBLIC STREETS IN THE TOM'YN OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. ip BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEVATER, ` FLORIDA: SECTION 1. For the purpose of numbering the houses and other buildings in the Town of Edgewater, the town is divided into four sections with Ridgewood Avenue and Park Avenue the divid- ing lines. SECTION 2. All numbers on streets running north and south shall start from Park Avenue, starting with the number 101. in the first block, 201 in the second block, etc. , the odd numbers to be on the East side of the respective streets and the even nu�,.bers on the West side of the respective streets. SECTION 3. All numbers on streets running East Pind West shall start from Ridgewood Avenue, starting with the number 101 in the first block, 201 in the second block, etc. , the odd numbers to be on the Nprth side of the respective streets and the even numbers on the South side of the respective streets. SFCTIOE 4. A separate number shall be allowed and assigned for each fifty feet of property, and the Town Council, shall allocate to each house or building now or hereafter existing the proper number to designate same according to the numbering plan herein set forth. It shall be the duty of the property owner to obtain and attach said number to the building or display it in some other con- spicious place on the premises so that it can be seen clearly from the street. SECTION 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Council of the Tam of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting on the 26th day of December, A.D. 1946. Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the requirement of reading said Ordinance upon second reading was waived, and this Ordinance was ordered put upon its final passage. Passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held the 26th day of Decelber, A.
