AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SALARY AND '.v>
DUTIES OF THE TOWN CLERK, TOWN MARSHALL,
AND STREET SUPERINTENDENT OF THE TOWN OF `
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. ' ` ,

BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF EDGEWATE,R,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That effective October 1st, A. D. 1947 the salary
of the Town Clerk shall be One Hundred and Fifty Dollars
($150.00) per month, the salary of the Town Marshall shall
be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) per month, and the salary of
the Street Superintendent shall be One Hundred and Thirty
Five Dollars ( 135.00) per month.
SECTION 2. The Town Clerk shall maintain office hours at the
Town Hall during the hours of 9:00 to 12:00 and 1:00 to 4: 30
on week days and from 9:00 to 12:00 on Saturdays. The Street
Superintendent shall work eight hours on week days and four
hours on Saturdays. No specific hours are hereby ?prescribed
for the Town Marshall but he shall be on duty at such times as
are necessary to adeauately perform the functions of the Town
Marshall of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, and shall be on call
at any time of the day and night when necessary to perform the
v)\ duties of Town. Marshall.
' v SECTION 3. It shall be the duty of the Town Clerk, the Town
yea Marshall and the Street Superintendent, to report every other

\ day to the Mayor of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, and to make
0.P such written reports to the Town Council as may from time to

' time be required by the Town Council by motion.

SECTION 4. The amounts heretofore paid to the Tolm Clerk, the
Town Marshall, and the Street Superintendent as salary are
hereby ratified and confirmed.
SECTION 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict
herewith be and the sane are hereby repealed.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect immediately upon
its passage and approval by the Mayor.
The above ordinance was read in full and passed by the unanimous
vote of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater, Florida at a
regular meeting on the 24th day of September, A. D. 1947.
Upon motion duly made, seconded and unanimously carried, the
requirement of reading said ordinance upon second reading was
waived and the ordinance was ordered nut upon final passage.
Passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Colmcil of the Town
of Edgewater, Florida at a regular meeting of said council
held on the 24th day of September, A. D. 1947, and approved
as 3rovided by law, the vote of sad council on roll call
