That Section III of Ordinance I;o. 79 of the Town of Edgewater, Florida, be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: Section ILL. The permit urovided for in Section 2 hereof shall rot be effective for a period of over one (1) year from the date thereof, and shall be subject to revocation by said Town Council at any time on ten (10) days written notice to the owner or keeper of said hogs or swine deliver- ed to him by the Town Clerk of the said Town of Edgewater, and after a findingktjy said Town Council that the further and continued keeping or maintaining of said hogs or swine shall be dangerous to the health of the citizens of said Town of Edgewater. Said notice herein provided for shall advise said owner or keeper of said hogs or swine that the continued and further keeping or maintenance of the same shall be and constitute a menace to the health of the citizens of s_:id Town and shall direct said owner or keeper thereof to remove the same within said ten (10) days from the limits of the said Town of Edgewater. Provided, however, that upon the expiration of all permits heretofore issued the same shall be renewed for a period ending on the 30th day of September following the date of the .issuance thereof; and that on and after the 30th day of September 1941 all a" permits issued under this ordinance shall be for a period c \0.5 &Id • - not to exceed one (1) year, it being the intent and pur- pose of this ordinance that all permits issued hereunder shall be renewed on the 1st uay of October of each year. Section II., This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its passage. This Ordinance was read in full and passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Council of the down of Edgewater, Florida, at its regular meeting on the 21st day of May, A. D. 1940. Upon motion duly made seconded and unanimously carried the re- quirements of reading this Ordinance upon second reading was waived and this 'rdinance was ordered put upon its final passage. Passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Council of the Town of Edgewater,Volusia County, Florida, and approved as provided by law on this 21st day of May, A. D. 1940.
