AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE ~'
PARKIT•NG OF MOTOR VEHICLES ON
RIDGE'r 00D AVENUE IN N E Zs
FLORIDA AN PRESCRIBING PENALTIES
FOR THE VIOLATION CF ITS PROVISIONS.
BE IT ORDAINED BY Tim TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF E,DGEWATER,
VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA:-
Section 1. It shall be unlawful for any person as owner, agent
or employee to park any motor vehicle in the following described
area in the To-.n of Jdgewater, Florida 2or a period of time in
excess of ten minutes, to-wit:
That certain area between the sidewalk and the
paved portion of 3idg ewood Avenue and running
north from the north line of Park _avenue a
distance of two hundred feet.
section 2. The Mayor of said Town be and he is hereby authorized
to provide proper markers for said area showing its boundaries
and shall cause to be placed thereon such signs as shall properly
notify the public of the restricted parking time limit established
by this Ordinance.
Section 3. Anyone found guilty of violating any of die provisions
of this Ordinance by the Mayor's Court of said Town shall be pun-
ished by a fine not exceeding1WEN1 FIVE Dollars or by imprison-
ment not exceeding Z I XT's days or both such fine and imprison-
ment, in the discretion of the Mayor's Court.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its
passage.
This Ordinance was read in full and passed by the unan-
imous vote of the Town Council of the Town of dgewater, Florida,

at its regular meeting on the 7th day of January, . D. 1941.
Upon motion duly made , seconded and unanimously carried
the requirement of reading this Ordinance upon second reading was
waived and this Ordinance was ordered put upon its final passage .
Passed by the unanimous vote of the Town Council of the
Town of Edgewater, Volusia County, Florida, and approved as pro-
' vided by law on this 7th day of January, A. D. 1941.
