Section 1: All real and personal property in
the Town of Edgewater, Volusia County, Floeriuu, shall be taxed
in accordance with the laws or the State of Florida, and the
Ordinances of said Town, and the millage :or the purposes of
taxation to raise the required revenue for the necessary and
ordinary expenses and the sr.ecial and extraordinary expenses
contemplated by the Town of Edgewater, is hereby nixed at twelve
(12) mills upon the dollar; and it is hereby deternined and here-
by declared that a ,ax of twelve (12) mills upon the dollar oe
levied amd the same is hereby imposed upon all taxable ::.eel and
personal property lying and being in the Town of Edgewater, Flo-
rida ior the year of 194-_.
Section 2: That the Town Clerk be and he is here-
by directed to note the said levy and millage on the Assessment
Roll of said Town anu L.o assess the f'oregoi}g tax as fixed and
levied by this Ordinance upon the taxable property set forth in
the said tax assessment roll of said Town, and to extend said tax
on said Roll.
;ec .:ion 3. All of the above taxes shall be due and
payable on first d:=;fir cf _ ovember, 19,=._41 and may be paid at any
time prior to the 1st _...onaay in April, 1 .b, at which time said taxes
shall become delis ..pent in accordance with the Ordinances of said
