ROLL CALL Present 5- Ben Wagner,Alice Haldeman,Sherry Lester,Glenn Barnhill and Nikki Hughart Absent 1- Ed Corn Also Present 2- Jeff Lariscy and Shontella Jackson 3. APPROVAL OF MINUTES A motion was made by Alice Haldeman, second by NikkiHughart, to approve the July 10, 2014 minutes with the recommended correction of the word "withdrew" replaced with "withdraw".The MOTION was APPROVED by the following vote: Yes: 5- Ben Wagner,Alice Haldeman,Sherry Lester,Glenn Barnhill,and Nikki Hughart Absent: 1- Ed Corn 4. SWEARING IN OF WITNESSES Sworn in were Code Supervisor Jeff Lariscy and Code Officer Dan Koehler. 5. NEW BUSINESS -PUBLIC HEARING Code Supervisor Jeff Lariscy requested the Board to move item (h) Case #14-108365 to be presented first to the Board. Code Officer Dan Koehler presented the case. Pictures were presented to the Board along with a letter from the property owner. Code Supervisor Jeff Lariscy read the letter to the Board written by the property owner requesting an additional 30 days to correct the violation. h. Pursuant to section 10-348& 10-345 subparagraph C 11 of the Code of Ordinance and the statement that appears on the respected citation issued that failure to appear at this hearing means that the alleged violator has waived any right to contest the violation and that an order can be made against them for the maximum applicable penalties that include but not limited too the administrative cost, fines, daily fines and liens however we have the benefit of the staff recommendations, motions and actions to be taken by the Board. b. OTHER BUSINESS 7. DISCUSSION ITEMS Chairman Ben Wagner acknowledged Russell Baugher a potential board member in the audience and thanked him for his time. Mr. Baugher was present and would like to serve on the board. 8. CODE COMPLIANCE REPORT Code Supervisor Jeff Lariscy stated that Code Enforcement has worked 153 cases for the month of July and 101 of those cases were brand new. Capt.
