BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS
PUBLIC HEARING AND REGULAR MEETING

CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Lupinek called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M. in the Edgewater City
Hall.

Mr. Lupinek stated that the lot was not posted and that some of the members
had not inspected the lot. He suggested that the Board recess this until
next month.
Mr. Canfield, Indian River Real Estate, told the Board he was there to help Mrs
McCargar and showed the Board members maps of the property. He explained
that Mrs. McCargar would like to sell this property.
A letter was read from Charles and Marjorie Burns stating that they do not
want this prospective house to be built only inches from their home.
Mr. Canfield said in view of the letter it would be a good idea to table this.
Mr. Sloan made a motion to recess the McCargar.Hea-e:i~g-"u.nt-il.[}ecember 19th
meeting. Mrs. Martin seconded the motion. Upon roll call the motion CARRIED
3-0.
MR. AIKENS
The resolution granted to Mr. William Rickelman was read. The conditions
attached to the resolution were also read.
Mr. Lupinek asked Mr. Aikens if he agreed to these conditions.
Mr. Aikens said ~es.
The Board members agreed that it would not be reasonable to deny Mr. Aikens
the right to operate a used car business at this address.
Mrs. Martin made a motion to grant the special exception with the same
conditions as Rickelmans. Mr. Sloan seconded the motion. Upon roll call
the motion CARRIED 3-0.
Mr. Aikens Public Hearing was adjourned.
REGULAR MEETING
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mrs. Martin made a motion to approve the minutes of October 24th. Mr. Sloan
seconded the motion. Motion CARRIED 3-0.
There was a discussion about literature getting to the Board members at least
a week before the meeting.
Mr. Lupinek made a motion to adjourn. Mr. Sloan seconded the motion.
