2016-R-02 RESOLUTION NO. 2016-R-02 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, REQUESTING A REDUCTION OF THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (FDEP) ANNUAL WASTEWATER REGULATORY AND SURVEILLANCE FEE FOR 2016; REPEALING RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND APPLICABILITY AND ESTABLISHING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to the requirements contained in Chapter 218, Florida Statutes, the City of Edgewater is hereby authorizing Staff to request a reduction of the Annual Wastewater Regulatory and Surveillance Fee for 2016 with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection("FDEP"),and; WHEREAS, upon review by FDEP and approval, the fee which is normally $5,625.00 can be reduced to zero dollars($0.00). NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida: Section 1. The City Council hereby authorizes staff to request a reduction of the Annual Wastewater Regulatory and Surveillance Fee for 2016 with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection("FDEP"). Section 2. Conflicting Provisions. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed. Section 3. Severability, If any portion of this resolution is for any reason held or declared to be unconstitutional, inoperative, or void, such holding shall not affect the remaining portions of this resolution. If this resolution or any YProvisions thereof shall be held to be inapplicable to any person, property, or circumstances, such holding shall not affect its applicability to any other person, property or circumstance. 2016-R-02 1 Section 4.
