APPROVAL OF MINUTES
Mrs. Nichols made a motion to approve the minutes of May 5, 1975,
being seconded by Mr. Denton. Upon roll call vote said motion
CARRIED.
Mrs. Murphy read the following notice to themembers:
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Adjustments of the City
of Edgewater, Florida will hold a Public Hearing on June 18, 1975
at 7:30 P.M. in the Mayor's Office to consider the request of
Eugene W. Barnes for a variance in the required setbacks on Lot
15 and all the remaining portions of Lot 16, and 17 east of
State Highway #1, all being in Block 11, Totem Park in the City
of Edgewater, Florida.
The board members discussed the dimensions on the drafts and the
required setbacks.
There was some discussion as to whether this man should be allowed
to adjoin the building which is already there.
The question came up about the residence being above the business
and the board members were concerned as to whether this was passed
by the Councilor not.
The available parking space was also discussed.
There was confusion as to whether this is going to be a type of
a restaurant with tables inside. If this is so, there will be
more parking spaces required.
The board could not find where in the Ordinance an Ice Cream
and Sandwich Shop was listed in regard to parking spaces.
Mrs. Murphy stated that this board can not really decide how
many parking spaces this type of business needs.
Mrs. Nichols stated that she believes this should have been
given to the Planning Board for their consideration and approval.
She stated that -she feels that this board can not handle this
matter.
The board members decided that they should look into this a
little more.
Mrs. Nichols made a motion to adjourn the meeting, being seconded
by Mr. Denton. Upon roll call vote said motion CARRIED.
