12-06-2001 u <.) CITY OF EDGEWATER ANIMAL CONTROL BOARD December 06,2001 7:00 P.M. CITY HALL CONFERENCE ROOM MINUTES CALL TO ORDER The special meeting was called to order by co-chairperson, Donna Wagner, at 7:00 PM in the City Hall Conference Room. ROLL CALL Members present were: Donna Wagner, Liz Scarvarda, and Debrah Brazzell. Also present were: Legal Assistant Robin Matusick, Animal Control Officer David Castetter, Captain Jill Landerville, and Board Secretary Sue Griffiths. Members absent were: Dr. D. Vanis NEW BUSINESS Chevanne and Dakota Animal control Officer David Castetter explained to the board that Cheyanne and Dakota were reportedly killing ducks in the area of Regent St. and Bond St. Mr. Castetter did not see the deceased ducks nor were there any photographic evidence of the deceased ducks in possession due to the complaintant disposing of said ducks. Officer Castetter explained that the dogs in question have had several complaints against them in the past and he would like the board to discuss possibly deeming the dogs as dangerous. After a brief discussion amongst board members the following motion was made. Motion: Motion was made by Debrah Brazzell and seconded by Liz Scavarda that since there is no photographic evidence or a visual observation of the deceased duck the case is unfounded. The animals in question will not be deemed dangerous. Motion held unanimous. ADJOURNMENT Motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Debrah Brazzell, seconded by Liz Scavarda. Motion carried unanimous. The meeting was adjourned at 7:05 P.M. Next Regular Meeting to be held on January 16th, 2002.
