ANIMAL CONTROL BOARD

MINUTES
CALL TO ORDER
Chairwoman Donna Wagner called the regular meeting to order at 7:50 p.m. in
the City Hall Conference Room.
ROLL CALL
Members present were: Chairwoman Donna Wagner, Debrah Brazzell, Karen
Mason, Elizabeth DiMascio and Dr. David Vanis. Also present were: Board
Secretary Shontella Jackson and Animal Administrator Amy Carotenuto.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
MOTION by Karen Mason, SECOND by Debbie Brazzell to aooroye the
minutes of the October 12, 2005 and October 27, 2005 Danaerous Doa
meetina. MOTION CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY.
NEW BUSINESS
Chairwoman Donna Wagner stated that the Board only received one new
applicant for the Animal Control Board. The Board reviewed the application and
suggested recommending the applicant. Chairwoman Wagner requested that the
Board Secretary submit a letter of recommendation for Pam Black to the City
Council. Chairwoman Wagner stated that Dr. Vanis has been reappointed to the
Animal Control Board.
Chairwoman Wagner requested an update on "Sam" dangerous dog case.
Animal Administrator Amy Carotenuto gave a brief update on "Sam".
Chairwoman Wagner presented information to the Board regarding the fee
changes. The Board had a brief discussion on fee changes. So~e of the
recommendations were: Dangerous Dog fee - altered $50 or unaltered $75
yearly; Disposal decease pet fee - $40 transport or $20 non-transport;
Impoundment fees - $33 for animals at large, $10 for each additional day and
$10 for unlicensed animal; and tag fees - $12 unaltered animal or $9 altered
animal. A $2.00 fee for duplicate tags. MOTION by Debbie Brazzell,

OLD BUSINESS
Chairwoman Wagner acknowledged Dr. Vanis reappointment and expressed
appreciation to Elizabeth DiMascio for serving on the Board.
ADJOURNMENT
MOTION to adjourn the meetina was made by Deborah Brazzell,
SECOND by Karen Mason. The meeting was adjourned at 8:35 pm.
