Police Pension Board Heeting
August 10, 1993
A meeting of the Board of Trustees of the City of Edgewater
Police Retirement Plan was called to order by Chairman ]~arry
Westfall at 3:05 P.H., in the Squad Room of the Edgewater
Police Department.
ROLL CALL:
Hernbers present were Larry Westfall, Ruth (',arvey, Ruth
O'Rourke, Gary Conroy and John Borzner. Also present were
Robert Sugarman, Board Attorney and Christi Robbins,
Recording Secretary.
APPROVAL OF HINUTES:
Gary Conroy made a motion to accept the Hinutes of the July
13, 1993, meeting, seconded by Ruth Garvey. }1otion carried
5 - O.
NEW BUSINESS:
Gary Conroy made a motion to have the Board Secretary and
Board Chairman sign the Plan document, on behalf of the
Board, and have the Secretary mail the document to Principal
Hutual, along with a request for application/enrollment
forms. The request should instruct Principal to mail the
forms to the city and have the city ensure that the forms
are completed by all current and future police officers.
The motion was seconded by Ruth Garvey and carried 5 - O.
OLD BUSINESS:
None.
HISCELLANEOUS:
Ruth Garvey made a motion that a member of the Board be sent
to the next FPPTA school, to be held in Ft. Lauderdale
arOlmd September 22, 1993. Gary Conroy made the second and
the motion carried 5 - O.
ADJOURNHENT:
with no further business before the Board, the meeting was
adjourned at 4:14 P.H.
