NEW BUSINESS
Beautification Ad Hoc Report & November Beautification Award
Mr. Visconti questioned why the City allowed the State D.G.T. to trash the medians the
way they did. Mr. Corder noted it was a D.G.T. project and their purpose was to lower
the sides of the road for run off Mr. Tipton stated he was unhappy with the project as
well and for all the requirements they expect of the City when we beautifY the medians,
why are they allowed to do such an awful job. Mrs. Hagan, Bearsley, and Trout also
voiced their displeasure at the appearance of the medians now. Mr. Visconti stated he
had taken video of the medians before the project, and the medians after the project and
he feels it should be seen by those in charge as this is just not right. The Board agreed
they should get some before and after still shots from the video and put them with a letter
to send to the State. They agreed to present this to Council at the next meeting.
The Board voted on the nominations for the November Beautification Award and the
