CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING AND WORKSHOP
February 7. 1980
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Christy called the Special Meeting to order, at 6:50 p.m. to
discuss the re-purchase of the Federal Surplus Generator, purchased
by Mr. Nichols.

Mr. Herget said that Mr. Nichols agreed to sell back the generator
that he purchased from the City Auction. He would like to get paid
the $50.00 that he paid plus the $20.00 that it cost to~transport
the generator to his place.
Mr. Ledbetter asked why did we have to pay for the transporting?
Mr. Woods said that he would rectify the matter and donate $20.00.
So that we will settle the whole matter. This check is made out to
the City of Edgewater.
Mayor Christy asked the Council if this was all right with them to
except the check from Mr. Woods?
Mr. Asting made a motion to except the $20.00 donation and except
the return of the generator from Mr. Nichols to be returned to '~
Stark. Mr. Glaser seconded the motion.
Mr. Nichols said that he didn't have to sell it back to the City as
he bought it at a Legal Auction as far as he was concerned.
Upon Roll Call the Motion CARRIED 5-0.
Mr. Ledbetter made a motion to adjourn, Mr. Asting seconded the
motion.
