81-O-37ORDINANCE NO.� AN ORDINANCE AM-NDING SECTION 606.01(d.1) OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE, APPENDIX A, CODE OF ORD- INANCES OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, TO EXTEND THE LIMITED AREA FOR PERMITTED USES TO VVV THAT AREA ZONED B-2 F:LONG THE F.E.C. RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY BETWEEN 20th STREET TO 30th STREET; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Zoning and Planning Board of the City of Edgewater, Florida, has recommended the following amendment to the Zoning Ordinance, and WHEREAS, public hearings have been held prior to the adoption of this ordinance as required by law, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED BY THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Section 606.01 of the Zoning Ordinance, Appendix A, of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater, Florida, is hereby amended in paragraph (d.l) thereof to read: (d.l) permitted uses in certain area: Ordinance No. 880 is amended to permit three new classifications of permitted uses in the B-3 zone in that area of land presently zoned B-2 along the Florida East Coast railroad tracks extending from 20th street to 30th Street in the City. These new classifications of permitted uses a(re as follows: Auto body shops, mini shops, and tool and grinding shops. A mini -shop is defined as a small shop, the use of which is devoted primarily to the sale of a service or a product or products,`but the service is performed or the product to be sold is prepared in its finished form on the premises. The only permitted use of a mini -shop shall be those permitted uses as set forth in the B-2 Neighborhood Business District in Ordinance No, 880. SECTION 2. That all ordinances or parts of ordinances and all resolution, or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and same are hereby repealed. m SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall be advertised according to law. SECTION 4. That this Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its adoption and authentication as provided by law. The ordinance was read for a first time and passed by vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a meeting there of held on they y of October, 1951.
