A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGE -
WATER, FLORIDA CANCELLING THE REGULARLY SCHEDULED
MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 3, 1990 AND RESCHEDULING SAID
MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 3, 1990 TO AUGUST 29, 1990;
REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2-20 of the Code of Ordinances of the
City of Edgewater, provides that the City Council shall hold its
regular meetings on the first and third Mondays of the month at
7:00 P.M. and that said meetings shall be either cancelled or
held on the preceding Wednesday, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that due to the
national holiday, it would be in the best interest of the City to
cancel the regularly scheduled meeting for September 3, 1990 and
reschedule the regular meeting of September 3, 1990, and
WHEREAS, the provisions of Section 17 of the City
Charter shall be complied with in that a regular meeting in the
month of January, 1990, will be held, and
WHEREAS, it is not the intent of this Resolution to
change the format and schedule of the regular meetings as set
forth in Section 2-20 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Edgewater.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the regular scheduled meeting of Septem-
ber 3, 1990 is hereby cancelled.
SECTION 2. That the regular scheduled meeting of Septem-
ber 3, 1990 is hereby rescheduled to August 29, 1990 in accor-
dance with Section 2-20 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of
Edgewater.
SECTION 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this resolution shall take effect im-
mediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, and approval as provided by law.
This Resolution was introduced and sponsored by Counciman
Hatfield , and was read and passed by a vote of the City Council
of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a meet-
ing of said Council held on the 90 day of
1990, and approved as provided by law.
