WHEREAS, at a Special Meeting of February 29, 1988, the
City Council by motion appointed Carl R. Overstreet as the
Public Works Superintendent of the City of Edgewater.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1: That Carl R. Overstreet is hereby appointed
as the Public Works Superintendent of the City of Edgewater.
SECTION 2: That Carl R. Overstreet's appointment is con-
tingent upon the following terms and conditions of employment:
1. The satisfactory result of a background investi-
gation
2. A satisfactory pre -employment medical examination
3. The successful completion of a six (6) month
probationary period as determined by the City
Council of Edgewater, Florida
4. The Public Works Superintendent will serve at the
will of the City Council,
SECTION 3: That the annual salary shall be Twenty-one
thousand dollars (821,000.00). No overtime. In addition, all
fringe benefits and evaluation will be as per Ordinances 85-0-5,
85-0-22, and 86-0-1.
SECTION 4: That all resolutions or parts of resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council
held on the2lst day of March 1198 8 , and approved
as provided by law.
This Resolution was introduced and sponsored by Councilman
Mltchum and was read and passed by a vote of the City
Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the 21st day of March
1988 , and authenticated as provided by law.
