A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE
OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, TO EXECUTE
AMENDMENT NO. 1989-6, 'ENGINEERING AND LAND SURVEYING
SERVICES ASSOCIATED WITH FLORIDA SHORES PROFESSIONAL
SURVEY PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE AND PROJECT
ADMINISTRATION", WITH DYER, RIDDLE, MILLS 5 PRECOURT,
INC.; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That the City Council of the City of Edge-
water, Florida, authorizes the appropriate officials of the City
of Edgewater, Florida, to execute Amendment No. 1989-6, "Engineer-
ing and Land Surveying Services Associated with Florida Shores
Professional Survey Procurement Assistance and Project
Administration" with Dyer, Riddle, Mills 8 Precourt, Inc.
SECTION 2. A copy of said Amendment is attached to this
Resolution and by reference incorporated herein as if fully set
forth and marked Exhibit "A".
SECTION 3. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions
in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4. That this Resolution shall take effect immedi-
ately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edge-
water, Florida, at a special meeting of said Council
held on the 15th day of May , 1989, and ap-
proved as provided by law.
This Resolution was introduced and sponsored by Councilman
Hatfield , and was read and passed by a vote of the
City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a special
meeting of said Council held on the 15th day of May ,
1989, and approved as provided by law.

ASSOCIATED WITH FLORIDA SHORES PROFESSIONAL SURVEY
PROCUREMENT ASSISTANCE AND PROJECT
ADMINISTRATION
This AMENDMENT made and entered into this 15th day of Mav,1989,amends
the consulting engineering AGREEMENT for professional services between the CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER. FLORIDA (hereinafter referred to as
"CITY"), and DYER, RIDDLE, MILLS A PRF.COURT, INC. (hereinafter referred
to as "CONSULTING ENGINEER") to perform engineering and survey services relative
to professional survey procurement assistance for the CITY;
WHEREAS, this AMENDMENT shall incorporate all of the conditions and
requirements of the original CONTRACT between the CONSULTING ENGINEER
and the CITY, dated October 19, 1987;
Provisions delineated in the October 19, 1987 AGREEMENT shall remain In
full force without modification. In case of conflict this AMENDMENT shall prevail.
This AMENDMENT provides for certain professional consulting engineering services
relative to the CITY's water supply system. The services provided in this
AMENDMENT include, but are not limited to, providing engineering services to
the City related to professional survey procurement assistance and project
administration.
As directed by the designated CITY representative to the CONSULTING
ENGINEER, confirmed by the CITY's work order, the scope of services and
professional engineering compensation as delineated in Exhibit A, "DAMP Work
Order Description".

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have accepted, made and executed
this AMENDMENT No. 1989-6 upon the terms and conditions stated in the
AGREEMENT dated October 19, 1987.

DRMP WORK ORDER DESCRIPTION
AND
COMPENSATION SUMMARY
Project Title: Florida Shores Professional Survey Procurement Assistance and
Project Administration.
Project Objective: The objective is to assist the City in the procurement of
professional land surveying services in accordance with CCNA.
Project Scope: The project scope has been divided Into five tasks which are
described below:
Task I: Legal Advertisement - Consultant will prepare the RFP for
placement in the local newspaper.
Task 2: Prepare Scope of Work - Consultant will prepare a scope of services
that the selected survey professional will provide.
Task 3: Professional Surveyor Selection - Based on the submitted proposals,
Consultart will prepare a ranking of firms such that the City
and Consultant may begin negotiations for the work.
Task 4: Aerial Services - Consultant will select and recommend to the
City a photogrammetric survey firm.
Task 5: Project Administration - If the work Is awarded by the City,
Consultant will provide the following services:
a) Approve Pay Requests;
b) Check completed work for compliance with contract
requirements;
c) Administrate changes in project scope;
d) Provide technical assistance.
Project Compensation: This project will be invoiced on a monthly basis using the
hourly rates and charges set forth in previous agreements with the City. The total
upset limit for this project is $25,000.
