81-R-18I� RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO 80-R-172 TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASED COMPENSATION FOR THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLOR- IDA, SETTING FORTH HER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida determined at its January 19, 1981 regular meeting that Nancy Blazi has completed her probationary term as City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, and that a salary increase for the position was desirable, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That Nancy Blazi is hereby appointed as City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida, who shall serve during the pleasure of the City Council. SECTION 2. That Nancy Blazi shall have all of the duties, rights, obligations, and responsibilities as set forth in the Charter and Code of Ordinances of the City of Edgewater, Florida, and the laws of the United States and the State of Florida. SECTION 3. That in addition to all duties specifically set forth, Nancy Blazi, as the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida, shall perform such additional administrative duties as the City Council may from time to time direct by either motion -or formal resolution. SECTION 4. That Nancy Blazi shall be compensated at the rate of $13,500.00 per anum and shall, in addition, be entitled to any fringe benefits enjoyed by any other employee of the City of Edgewater, F for ida. SECTION 5. That Nancy Blazi is hereby employed as City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida, pursuant to motion adopted by the City Council on August 4, 1980, with probationary period expiring and new rate of compensation effective January 19, 1981, as per motion of the City Council of said date. SECTION 6. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in, conflict herewith be and same. are hereby repealed. SECTION 7. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Flor- ida, and approval as provided by law.
