David Woods, 248 Navigators Way: Asked why Jennifer Reynolds Fire Pension application is not up to
date.
Pamela Carroll, 3003 Yule Tree Dr: Wanted to thank the City Council for listening to the Edgewater
residents.
Michael Visconti, 316 Pine Breeze Drive: Wanted to see if the Council had considered building a park out
of the empty parking lot like he had suggested last meeting.

William Dailey, 1680 Needle Palm Drive: Wanted to discuss the release of a firefighter while on a
probationary status.
Michael McCan, Deltona: Discussed his recent termination, asked if any other employees had recently
been relieved of duty during probationary status and asked if he was entitled to a reason behind
termination.
Frank Morris, 3132 Queen Palm: Requested that the city look into contracting Waste Pro for trash
removal.
David Blair, 1703 Bradford Rd: Disagrees with the termination of Michael McCan.
Gloria Mitchell, 3422 Umbrella Tree: Announced that she thinks the city should have a plan for
unexpected emergencies like the shooting in Las Vegas.

6. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS
Councilwoman Power reported: That she attended TPO last week and discussion was made on whether
or not to raise the local match. Councilwoman confirmed that it has been tabled which she feels is a good
thing.
Councilwoman Vogt reported:Nothing at this time.
Councilman Blazi reported:No report
Councilman Conroy reported: That he is disappointed to hear that no one informed Mr. Barnhill of the
recent events that occurred with the Code Enforcement Board.
Mayor Ignasiak reported: That the debris clean up trucks are out and they are moving as quickly as
possible.

we direct Staff to communicate to the County of Volusia that we are in favor of making the
deal and direct Staff to negotiate an agreement with the Barclay Group Gateway Park for the
monument feature. The MOTION was APPROVED by the following vote:

11. OFFICER REPORTS
a. City Clerk
Reported: That she will be on vacation starting October 18th and that Kelsey will be taking care of
everything in her absences. Also the City of Edgewater will be hosting the ethics course in February of
2018. The next council meeting will be held on November 13th at 6:30 PM
b. City Attorney
Reported:Nothing at this time.
c. City Manager
Reported: being on vacation starting October 13th through October 30th. Chris Wofford will be the best
way to reach him while away Discussed Animal shelter budget to answer citizen questions. Also spoke
about Menard-May Park update and the goal is to have park open August-September 2018.
