78-R-3RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION SETTING A TIME AND PLACE FOR A PUBLIC HEARING IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 170.07 REGARDING A SPECIAL FRONT FOOT ASSESSMENT FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING SANITARY SEWERS ON THOMAS STREET AND JUNIPER DRIVE IN THE CITY OF EDGEWATER; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HERE- WITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, pursuant to Florida Statute 170.07 it is necessary for the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida to fix a time and place at which the owners of the property affected by the special front foot assessment for the purpose of providing a sanitary sewer system on Juniper Drive and Thomas Street may be heard as to the propriety and advisability of making such improv- ments, as to the cost thereof, as to the manner of payment therefore, and as to the amount thereof to be assessed against each property so improved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That a public hearing in accordance with Florida Statute 170.07 is hereby sea for October 30 , 1978 at 6:30 p.m. at the Community Center in Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 2: That the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida, in compliance with Florida Statute 170.07, shall provide notice in writing of the above designated time and place to all affected property owners who own property on Juniper Drive and Thomas Street. The City Clerk is further directed to publish said notice of the above time and place of said hearing by two publications a week a part in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Edgewater, Florida, which said notice should describe the streets to be Improved and advise all property owners interested that the description of each property to be assessed, amount to be assessed to each piece or parcel of property may be ascertained at the office of the City Clerk of the City of Edgewater, Florida. SECTION 4: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adbption by the City Council and approval as provided by law. The first reading of the Resolution was read in full and passed by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the �1 day of October, 1978, and approved as provided by law.
