Attached is the preapplication form for the 701 Comprehensive Planning
Grant for 1979-1980. Although it is expected that our Comprehensive
Plan will be completed this year, 701 Funds for 1979-1980 may be
available for implementing the recommendations of the Plan.
This preapplication must be signed by the Mayor and must be accompanied
by a resolution from the City Council requesting consideration of the
preapplication (a sample resolution is attached).
This grant requires a one-third (1/3) match by the local government if
our program is funded, however, this preapplication in no way obligates
the City to accept funds or appropriate local matching funds.
The deadline for submission of this preapplication is February 9, 1979.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
