RESOLUTION NO. 75-1?- 117
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING CHARLES HARDEE AS THE
ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA; SETTING FORTH UNDER WHAT CONDITIONS HE
SHALL SERVE AS THE ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY; PRO-
VIDING FOR REMUNERATION FOR HIS SERVICES; PROVID-
ING THAT HE SHALL SERVE AT THE WILL OF THE CITY
COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA; REPEAL-
ING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PRO-
VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is sometimes necessary for City Attorney Judson I.
Woods, Jr. to be absent from Regular or Special Council Meetings and
Workshop Meetings, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City Council of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, to have an Attorney at Law present for all proceed-
ings of the City Council, and
WHEREAS, Charles Hardee has agreed to act as the attorney for
the City of Edgewater, Florida, in the absence of Judson I. Woods, Jr.,
City Attorney,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGE -
WATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That Charles Hardee is hereby appointed as the
Assistant City Attorney of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That the said Charles Hardee shall serve in the
capacity of the Assistant City Attorney only in the absence of the
City Attorney, Judson I. Woods, Jr., and at the request of the Edgewater
City Council.
SECTION 3. That Charles Hardee shall be paid for his services
when rendered at the rate of $40.00 per hour and he shall accordingly
account for all time expended and submit his vouchers to the Edgewater
City Council for proper payment.
SECTION 4. That the said Charles Hardee shall at all times be
under the supervision.of City Attorney Judson I. Woods, Jr., and shall
consult with him,.,if practical, prior to giving legal advice to any
member of the City Council, Board member or employee of the City of
Edgewater, Florida. -

SECTION 5. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in
conflict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 6. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.
The first reading of the Resolution was read in full and passed
by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a
Regular meeting of said Council held on the .//'�day of December,
1979, and approved as provided by law.
