A RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO VACATE THAT CERTAIN
FIFTEEN FOOT ALLEY NOW LYING IN BLOCK 16, FLORIDA
SHORES, UNIT NO. 1, MAP BOOK 23, PAGE 57, OF THE
PUBLIC RECORDS OF VOLUSIA COUNTY, FLORIDA; PRO-
VIDING FOR NOTIFICATION OF THE PROPOSED VACATION
TO ALL AFFECTED PROPERTY OWNERS; PROVIDING FOR A
TIME AND PLACE AT WHICH OBJECTIONS TO SAID VACA-
TION CAN BE HEARD BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA; REPEALING ALL RESOLU-
TIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND PROVIDING AN EFFEC-
TIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, representatives of Magnuson Corporation have requested
that the Edgewater City Council vacate that certain fifteen foot alley
located in Block 16, Florida Shores, Unit No. 1, as per map in Map Book
23, page 57, of the Public Records of Volusia County, Florida,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDGEWATER, FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. That it is the intent of the City Council of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, to adopt an ordinance vacating that certain
fifteen foot alley now located in Block 16, Florida Shores, Unit No. 1,
as per map in Map Book 23, page 57, of the Public Records of Volusia
County, Florida.
SECTION 2. That all adjacent property owners who will be affected
by said vacation shall be personally or constructively served with a
copy of this Resolution.
SECTION 3. That the proposed vacation shall appear for a riate
action on the Agenda of the Edgewater City Council on January i , 1980,
and all oersbns effected by the vacation of this alleyway shall be heard
,regarding any objections to the proposed vacation on Monday, January 7,
1980, at 7:00 p.m., at the Edgewater Community Center.
SECTION 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in con-
flict herewith be and the same are hereby rescinded.
SECTION 5. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption by the City Council and approval as provided by law.

The first reading of the Resolution was read in full and passed
by a vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a
Regular meeting of said Council held on the ^/ % day of December,
1979, and approved as provided by law.
