87-R-2RESOLUTION NO. 87-R-2 WHEREAS, Florida Statutes 185.05 has been amended to reflect new regulations for membership to the Board of Trustees for Municipal Police Officers Retirement Trust Funds; and WHEREAS, the amended law requires that the two previously appointed legal residents and two previously appointed police officer members will select a fifth member; and WHEREAS, at the December 29, 1986, meeting the tour members selected Nancy J. Shoemaker as the fifth member. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That Nancy J. Shoemaker is hereby appointed as a member to serve on the Board of Trustees of the City of Edgewater, Florida, Police Retirement Plan. SECTION 2: That the term of office will be for two (2) years to end January 5, 1989. SECTION 3: That the individual named above shall have all of the powers, duties, and responsibilities as set forth in the ordinances, resolutions and laws of the State of Florida. SECTION 4: That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 5: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 5th day of January 1987, and approved as provided by law.
