86-R-18RESOLUTION NO. 86-R-18 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATE CITY OFFICIALS OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER TO EXECUTE AMENDMENT NO. 3 TO THE AGREEMENT FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH DYER, RIDDLE, MILLS & PRECOURT, INC. AND MARSHALL, ENGINEERS; REPEALING ALL RESOLUTIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH, AND PRO- VIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, at a Special Council meeting held on March 27, 1986, the City Council unanimously agreed to enter into Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement for Consulting Engineering Services with Dyer, Riddle, Mills & Precourt, Inc. and Marshall, Engineers. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA: SECTION 1: That the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, authorizes the appropriate officials of the City of Edgewater to execute Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement for Consulting Engineering Services with Dyer, Riddle, Mills & Precourt, Inc. and Marshall, Engineers. SECTION 2: A copy of said Amendment dated April 7, 1986, is attached to this Resolution and by reference incorporated herein as if fully set forth. Said Amendment No. 3 includes Exhibit A, Scope of Services Florida Shores Wastewater System Master Plan; Exhibit A-1, Florida Shores Wastewater System Master Plan Preliminary Table of Contents; and Exhibit B, Compensation Summary. SECTION 3: That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed. SECTION 4: That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 7th day of April 1986 , and approved as provided by law. (hereinafter referred to as "CONSULTING ENGINEERS") to perform professional services relative to the preparation of Florida Shores wastewater system master plan for THE CITY OF EDGEWATER, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, this AMENDMENT shall incorporate all of the conditions and requirements of the original CONTRACT between the CONSULTING ENGINEERS and the CITY, dated October 3, 1985; Provisions delineated in the October 3, 1985 AGREEMENT shall remain in full force without modification. In case of conflict this AMENDMENT shall prevail. This AMENDMENT provides for certain professional consulting engineering services relative to the CITY's wastewater system. The services provided in this AMENDMENT include, but are not limited to providing general engineering services for preparing the Florida Shores wastewater system master plan for the CITY. The scope of services shall begin within 10 days from the written notice to proceed and shall be completed in accordance with the schedule attached. Fifteen (15) bound copies of the report shall be submitted to the CITY for their use. As directed by the designated CITY representative to the CONSULTING ENGINEERS, confirmed by the CITY's work order, the scope of services listed in Exhibit A, and the professional engineering compensation listed in Exhibit B are made part of this AMENDMENT. Not included in this scope of services is the aerial photography or contour maps to establish one -foot contours and base maps for the engineering work.
