BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDGEWATER,
FLORIDA:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to Section 39 of the Charter of the City of
Edgewater, Florida, EDWARD JOSEPH OVERMAN is herebyappointed as Chief
of Police of the City of Edgewater, Florida.
SECTION 2. That EDWARD JOSEPH OVERMAN as Chief of Police of the
City of Edgewater, Florida will serve pursuant to all the rights, duties, obligations
and responsibilities as set forth in the Charter and Code of Ordinances of the
City of Edgewater, Florida, and the laws of the United States of America and
the State of Florida.
SECTION 3. That EDWARD JOSEPH OVERMAN will serve as Chief of
Police of the City of Edgewater, Florida, pursuant to the following terms and
conditions of employment:
SECTION 4. That all resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption by the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida, at a
meeting of said Council held on the day of
1984, and approved as provided by law.
The first reading of the Resolution was read in full and passed by a
vote of the City Council of the City of Edgewater, Florida at a
meeting of said Council held on the _day of ,1984, and
approved as provided by law.
